The band’s ninth studio album is on track to become the first number one album to use NFT technology, as it currently tops the rest of the Top 10 compilations.
Muse could clinch an official album chart for the first time this week, with Will Of The People becoming the first UK number 1 album to use NFT (non-fungible token) technology, according to the Official Charts Company.
The British rock band, which includes Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard, now top the rest of the Top 10 compilations with their ninth studio album, set to become their seventh number 1 hit of the band. Plus, Will Of The People will likely become the UK’s first high-end to feature NFT elements.
With the release of the limited edition ‘Digital Pressing’, a partnership between Warner Music UK and eco-music marketplace Web3 Serenade, Will Of The People is on its way to breaking through the official album charts, after Close Aitch’s To Home became the first NFT project to enter the official UK charts last week.
