INXS guitarist sues boat hire company over severed finger

INXS guitarist Tim Farriss is suing a rental boat operator after severing his finger in an accident in 2015.

The ring finger of his left hand was caught in an electric anchor while sailing. The severed finger was reattached, but will never be functional again.

The guitarist holds the Church Point Charter responsible for his ‘career-ending injury’. He claims they failed to provide the right instructions.

The rental boat operator insists Farriss was offered instructions, but that he failed to take appropriate care while aboard.
